Averaged 7.3 points and 3.6 rebounds as ISU’s top reserve in the post...shot 60 percent from the field (69-115 FG), the sixth-best single-season field goal percentage total in school history...registered 32 blocks, averaging 1.3 blocks per game to rank seventh in the Big league play, averaged 1.5 blocks to rank sixth in the Big the last two games of the season, combined for 11-of-11 shooting from the floor...tallied a career-high 16 points and grabbed seven boards in his Cyclone debut vs. Idaho his Big 12 debut vs. No. 1 Texas, recorded 14 points and six boards...posted nine points and a career-high nine rebounds vs. Colorado...was instrumental in ISU’s upset win at No. 5 Kansas State, scoring 10 points (5-5 FG) and grabbing three rebounds.

Played two years at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa...rated as the 57th-best player in the preseason 2008-09 Juco Junction rankings...averaged 8.5 points and 6.3 rebounds as a freshman, earning honorable mention All-Region XI honors...suffered a stress fracture in his sophomore season and saw limited action...averaged 8.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and shot 63.3 percent from the field (31-49 FG) in nine games...coached by Jeff Kidder...his IHCC teammates included: Dwight Buycks (Marquette), Dwight Hardy (St. John’s), Marcus Relphorde (Colorado), James Washington (Middle Tennessee) and Delvon Johnson (Arkansas).

Ranked as one of the top post players in the Class of 2007...rated as the 63rd-best player in the nation and the 17th-best power forward in the Class of 2007...was the seventh-best player in the Southeast Region in 2007...played at Greer High School [S.C.] as a sophomore, leading his squad to the state title...averaged 22.1 points, 11.1 rebounds and 7.3 blocks in his sophomore campaign...finished his senior year at New Hope Christian Prep School in North Carolina where he averaged 23.1 points and 12.2 rebounds...originally committed to Clemson, but opted to go to junior college.
