DALLAS - Britney Griner scored 31 points as No. 1 Baylor (32-1) beat Iowa State (23-8), 75-47, Monday in the championship game of the Big 12 Conference postseason tournament in the American Airlines Center. The appearance of the Cyclones in its first league championship final since 2007 was spurred by wins over Kansas and Oklahoma on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Iowa State awaits the presentation March 18 of its berth in the 2013 NCAA Tournament.

HIGHLIGHTS | POST-GAME (FENNELLY | IOWA STATE PLAYERS | OKLAHOMA) | STATS

DALLAS - There would be no déjà vu this time. Iowa State (23-7 overall) led Oklahoma (22-10 overall) at halftime by 19 points Sunday, the same intermission deficit the Sooners overcame Saturday to best West Virginia in a Big 12 Conference Tournament quarterfinal at the American Airlines Center . But OU never got closer than 18 points in the second half vs. the Cyclones, falling to a dominant Iowa State squad, 79-60 in the second Big 12 Tournament semifinal. The victory marked the first time a Cyclone team has ever beaten Oklahoma three times in one season.

Women's Tournament Team Sendoff Events
There will be a team send-off at the Dallas Hyatt Regency two hours prior to tipoff of all ISU games. Times are as follows:

Quarterfinals (March 9): 4 p.m. (game at 6 p.m.)
Semifinals (March 10): 1:30 p.m. (game at 3:30 p.m.)
Finals (March 11): 5 p.m. (game at 7 p.m.)

Women’s Tournament Fan Headquarters
Gators, located at 1714 N. Market Street in the Historic Dallas West End, will be the official ISU fan headquarters in Dallas, located less than a mile from the American Airlines Arena within walking distance. Don’t feel like walking? Gators has a 20-passenger bus that can shuttle you to the arena. Come to gather with Cyclones from all over and enjoy your time in Texas.
