AMES, Iowa - Throughout the next two weeks will be rolling out exclusive interviews with 2010-11 Iowa State women's basketball newcomers. The interviews will reflect on the players first season in Ames, while also looking ahead to the future.

Today's interview features junior Lauren Mansfield, an Adelaide, Australia native, who started all 33 games in her first season with the Cyclones. The point guard was fifth in the Big 12 with 5.1 assists per game, dishing out five or more dimes in 20 games.

Mansfield also averaged 8.8 points per game, including a career-high 23 points on five 3-pointers against Nebraska in the Big 12 Championships.
