AMES, Iowa – Iowa State women’s basketball associate head coach Jack Easley is leaving his position, effective June 30, after nine seasons with the university.

“All of us associated with Iowa State women’s basketball want to thank coach Easley and his family for nine years of tremendous service to our program,” Iowa State head coach Bill Fennelly said. “He was a huge part of the great success we have enjoyed over the years. Jack is as good of a person as you will find and we all wish him the very best.”

The Kansas City, Mo., native was a part of nine postseason appearances with the Cyclones and helped Iowa State compile a 198-98 record during his tenure. Prior to his career at Iowa State, Easley spent one season at Providence College and 19 seasons at Oklahoma State as an assistant coach.

“I would like to thank coach Fennelly and the administration for the opportunity to be a part of the Cyclone family,” Easley said. “Thank you to our fans for being the best in the country. Walking out of the locker room and coaching in front of all of you the last nine years was a priceless experience.

“Most importantly, I want to thank all the players that I have had the privilege to coach here at Iowa State. You all have made Marla and I feel special. You all are the best.”
