No. 20 Iowa State Loses to Oklahoma, 75-54
How It Happened:
The Cyclones and Sooners each grabbed a first-half lead, but it was the Sooners who stole the show, leading Iowa State by as much as eight points on multiple occasions. After the Sooners grabbed an 8-0 lead to go up 16-9, the Cyclones rebounded putting together a 7-0 run to tie the game. OU would nab a 30-26 halftime lead.
In the second half, the Sooners would take control with a 9-0 run to grab as much as a 10-point lead over the Cyclones, 45-35. Iowa State would be unable to close the gap as the Sooners would nab as much as a 23-point lead.

Nikki Moody scored the Cyclones first five points of the game and seven of the first nine as the junior led Iowa State in scoring with 16 points. The junior would nab five assists for the 12th time this season.
*Iowa State has hit a 3-pointer in an NCAA-record 599 straight games.
*Moody has grabbed five or more assists in 12 of ISU’s 18 games this season.
*Hallie Christofferson has scored in double figures in 17 of 18 games this season.

Iowa State returns to the court Saturday, Jan. 25, to take on Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. The game is set to tip off at 7:00 p.m. CT.
