Cyclones Fall to No. 15 Texas Tech
AMES, Iowa- A late rally came up short as the Iowa State soccer team fell 2-1 to the No. 15 Texas Tech Red Raiders before a record-setting crowd of 1,574 fans at the Cyclone Sports Complex Friday night.
Turning point of the game
With the score 1-0 in favor of Texas Tech (10-1-0) in the 40th minute, Hannah Devine kicked up a floater that was grabbed by Cyclone goalkeeper Maddie Jobe just a second too late in close call, giving the Red Raiders a 2-0 lead. Texas Tech was able to hold off the Cyclones late rally with the 2-0 lead.

Cyclone game ball goes to…
Haley Albert. The Cyclone sophomore came up huge for Iowa State scoring with a header off of a corner kick from Jennifer Dominguez. The goal gave Iowa State a big lift late in the contest and momentum heading into the final minutes.
