AMES, Iowa - Iowa State junior forward Jennifer Dominugez was named to College Sports Madness' All-America Second Team the online publication announced today.  Dominguez is the first Cyclone soccer player to earn an All-America honor in program history.

The Lubbock, Texas, native had a team-high 14 goals for the Cyclones in 2012.  Dominguez's 14 goals were the highest in the Big 12, and she also led the league in points (28).  Dominguez produced the second-best season goals season in Cyclone history behind only Jo Hinks' mark of 18 in 1997.

"I am very proud of Jennifer," Iowa State head coach Wendy Dillinger said. "She has worked very hard the last three seasons to maximize her potential. I can't say enough about her team-first mentality and work rate.  She's a true competitor and champion."

Dominguez tied for 12th nationally in goals scored at the end of the regular season and tied for 34th in total points.

College Sports Madness also named Dominguez the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year on Oct. 29.
