AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State soccer team will get an added boost to its 2013 incoming class with the addition of Kourtney Camy who transferred from Arkansas State.  The 5-10 central defender is a Denver, Colo., native and already enrolled at Iowa State and training with the Cyclones this spring.

Camy played high school soccer as a freshman and sophomore and earned all-state honors both seasons.  Camy played club soccer for Colorado Rush Nike and helped her team to the 2010 Region IV title and five Colorado state cup championships.  In 2012, Camy’s Colorado Rush Nike squad played in the ECNL national championship tournament.

Camy played Olympic Development Program (ODP) soccer during her prep career and was named to the regional squad during her time in ODP.

Camy did not exhaust any eligibility while at Arkansas State and will have four years to play at Iowa State.
