Finished the season 3-2 at No. 2 and 7-11 at No. 3 singles…went 2-7 in conference play…defeated West Virginia’s Ikttesh Chahal in the Cyclones’ lone conference victory…teamed up with Ana Gasparovic in doubles play for entirety of spring season, going 10-11 in dual competition. 

Played the majority of the dual season at No. 3 singles ... led Cyclones in singles wins, finishing 16-19 overall, including 2-7 in Big 12 action ... clinched Iowa State's lone conference win with a three-set thriller against West Virginia's Ikttesh Chahal ... also beat Oklahoma's Whitney Wofford and avenged an earlier loss to Kansas' Paulina Los with a win at Big 12 Championships ... also had a team-high tying 14 doubles wins, finishing the season 14-15 overall and 4-3 in Big 12 play ... finished season playing in No. 2 doubles slot with Simona Cacciuttolo and went 5-2.


Had a solid freshman campaign, capturing a singles title at the Kansas Tournament ... went 15-18 in singles action, playing mostly at the No. 4 singles slot ... was 3-6 in Big 12 play, winning contests against Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Kansas ... was 7-7 in doubles play, including a 3-1 mark with fellow freshman Ksenia Pronina.

Champion of the Washington State 4A tournament in singles her sophomore and junior years, and took second place as a freshman … advanced to the round of 64 at the 2010 summer nationals ... placed in top-two of every age group in her section since she was 12 ... team claimed Pacific Cup in 2009 ... member of Fed Cup in 2009 and 2010 ... played only doubles as a senior…high school team won the state championship in 2009 and was league champions in 2010 and 2011 … played at the No. 1 doubles position all four years of high school and went undefeated for three … went undefeated in singles during her sophomore and junior year campaigns … ranked first in the state for singles and second in doubles…nominated most valuable player on the team her freshman and sophomore year…earned the Mitchell Award as a sophomore player…maintained a GPA of 3.5 and above throughout high school… coached by John Cassens, Gil Rigell and Mark Hanson.

Born Sept. 25, 1992…daughter of John and Karen Cassens … father is the tennis director at a Bally Total Fitness facility near their home...Majoring in Business.
