Season Ticket Mark in Jeopardy; Single Sales Begin
AMES, Iowa - Iowa State fans have a chance to make history again through their support of the Cyclone football program at the box office.
Season-ticket sales are quickly approaching the school-record level set one year ago. The gap between last year's record sales and 2012 sales-to-date is slightly above 500.
With single-game tickets sales beginning Wednesday, ISU fans should give strong consideration to season tickets immediately.
The Athletics Ticket Office will put single-game tickets on sale Wednesday (Aug. 15) for the Tulsa (Sept. 1) and Western Illinois (Sept. 15) games. Single-game reserved tickets for the Hurricanes and Leathernecks cost $40 each. Upper deck seats in Sections A, B, K and L cost $20 apiece. Hillside tickets for those games are $15 each.
Single-game tickets for the conference contests and mini-packs (which include the Baylor, Oklahoma and West Virginia games) will go on sale Sept. 5.
Iowa State will continue to sell season tickets, but availability will become more restrictive once single-game sales begin.
