Thursday, Dec. 29: New York Stock Exchange and Yankee Stadium Walk-Through
The football team had a busy morning, taking a private tour of the Empire State Building and had a walk-though at Yankee Stadium to get acclimated to the surroundings. Head coach Paul Rhoads, President Gregory Geoffroy, Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard and linebacker Jake Knott went to the New York Stock Exchange and rang the bell with staff from New Era, Rutgers and the New York Yankees. The Iowa State football team took a tour of the 9/11 Memorial on Wednesday evening, followed by a boat cruise and dinner. Click the embedded media player below to see a video of that feature. Wednesday, Dec. 28: Practice Sights and Sounds, Plus Activity Schedule
The Iowa State football team conducted its final practice at Hofstra University on Wednesday. The team heads on a tour of the 9/11 Memorial later this afternoon and then on a dinner yacht cruise as well.

Tuesday, Dec. 27: Yankee Stadium Welcome Dinner
The Iowa State football team dressed up and headed to Yankee Stadium tonight for the welcome dinner with the Yankees' staff and Friday's opponent, Rutgers. Click the links below for video interviews, footage of the stadium tour and a photo gallery from the evening event.
The football staff hosted a steak dinner last night for players and the families of the coaches. The players a few of their official bowl gifts and Santa made a special visit for the kids in thet travel party. Click the embedded media player below to see a video clip of the dinner last night.
Monday, Dec. 26: Sights and Sounds of Practice
The Iowa State football team conducted its second on-site practice at Hofstra University on Monday afternoon, taking a one hour bus ride from the team hotel in Times Square to the practice field in Long Island. The coaching staff, their families and players will hold a holiday dinner this evening and receive official team bowl gifts. The players will then take in a comedy show at a Times Square comedy club later in the evening.
The official travel party and Iowa State football team arrived in New York early afternoon on Christmas Day Sunday. The team will hold its first on-site bowl practice this evening at Hofstra University on Long Island. Friday, Dec. 23: Pinstripe Bowl Events Information
Informal places for Cyclones to gather in their Cardinal & Gold (no formal events will be held in these locations)
- O'Lunney's Times Square Pub (145 West 45th Street between Broadway/7th Avenue and 6th Ave) - open 11 a.m.-4 a.m.
Tonic Sports Bar and Restaurant Times Square (727 7th Ave between 48th and 49th Street) - open 10:30 a.m.-4 a.m.
- Friday, December 30 - Spirit Walk/Pep Rally
There will be a Spirit Walk and Rally prior to the game hosted by the ISU Athletics Department and ISU Alumni Association, sponsored by the Greater Des Moines Partnership. This event will be in the Great Hall of Yankee Stadium from noon until the gates to the stadium officially open at 1:30 p.m. The location of the Great Hall is between Gates 4 and 6, right off of the subway next to Babe Ruth Plaza.
Admission to event is free, however, you will need a game ticket to enter and will not be allowed to re-enter if you exit the Stadium.
* The program (President Geoffroy, Jamie Pollard, Coach Rhoads, Jeff Johnson, the ISU Spirit Squad, Cy, and band) will begin at approximately 12:45 p.m.
* Beer and concession food will be available for purchase beginning at noon.
* Pinstripe Bowl lapel pins, poms, and tattoos will be available on a first come, first served basis at the Spirit Walk and Rally (table will be in center of Great Hall)
* This is a protected outdoor venue...so whatever you wear to watch the game outside will work at this event.
* The Spirit Walk will be held right before or after the program for the team through the Great Hall (depending upon when the team makes it thought NYC traffic). After that, you are welcome to enter the Yankee Stadium as you cannot re-enter if you exit the stadium.
* Once you are inside Yankee Stadium, Monument Park, the New York Yankee Museum, and Hard Rock Café will be open for business.
Please note New Era Pinstripe Bowl will kick off at 3:20 p.m. EST

Thursday, Dec. 22: Important Pinstripe Bowl Student Ticket Pick-Up Information
Over 600 student tickets have been sold for the Pinstripe Bowl and to help accommodate this great student turnout, the Iowa State Athletics Department will be offering ticket pick up on both Thursday, Dec. 29 and Friday, Dec. 30. We strongly encourage you to pick-up your tickets either on Thursday, Dec. 29 or early on Friday, Dec. 30 to ensure yourself plenty of time before kickoff.
The ticket pick-up locations and times are as follows:

If you chose to hold your tickets at will call for the Pinstripe Bowl, please see the locations and times below to pick up your tickets. We encourage you to pick up your tickets in Ames on Wednesday, Dec. 21 or Thursday, Dec. 22.
If you will be picking your tickets up in New York we strongly encourage ticket pick up either on Thursday, Dec. 29 or early on Friday, Dec. 30 to ensure yourself plenty of time for admittance before kickoff to the game.
Pinstripe Bowl tickets are available for pick up at the following locations and times:

Wednesday, Dec. 7: Iowa State Wins Multiple All-Big 12 Honors
Iowa State juniors A.J. Klein and Aaron Horne headlined the Cyclones honored by the Big 12 Conference Tuesday. Klein was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year and Horne was tabbed the Offensive Newcomer of the Year. The Big 12's coaches selected the All-Big 12 teams and awards. >> Read more here.
