Co-captain … honorable mention All-Big 12 honoree from The Associated Press … presented with Iowa State’s Ennis Haywood Consideration Award, given to the player most cooperative with team and staff emembers … started all 13 games, finishing career with 46 careers games played and 33 starts … finished the season with 65 tackles, including … four for loss … led Iowa State with three interceptions on the season … most important pick of the season came on the first play of the second overtime against Oklahoma State as caught a tipped Brandon Weeden pass to set up the Cyclones’ game-winning drive against the No. 2 Cowboys … got his first career interception at Texas Tech and returned it 40 yards to set up Iowa State’s on the Red Raider one-yard line … also recorded interception at Oklahoma … posted second-career double figure tackle game with his 11 against the Sooners … compiled nine tackles at Baylor.

2010
Finished season with 58 tackles and four tackles for loss … has made 20 career starts … has played in 32 career games and made 123 tackles, 9.5 of them for loss … started 11 games last season … made career-high 12 tackles at Oklahoma … blocked a Northern Iowa field-goal attempt … eight tackles against Texas Tech.

2009
Played in nine games, breaking bone in leg during Nebraska game but returning for Insight Bowl win over Minnesota ... made huge play in bowl win over Minnesota, recovering a fumble and returning the ball nine yards to end the Gophers’ final drive of the game in a 14-13 Cyclone victory ... started four games ... finished season with 41 tackles with a pair of sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss ... made season-high nine tackles at Kansas ... had five tackles in return from injury in Iowa State’s Insight Bowl win.

Made five starts as a true freshman ... recorded 24 tackles and forced and recovered a fumble.
