Cyclones.tv: Camp Courageous Visit Feature
The Iowa State Tailgate Tour contingent made an important stop on its way to Cedar Rapids with a visit to Camp Courageous in Monticello on Tuesday. Camp Courageous is a non-profit, year-around respite care and recreational facility for individuals of all ages with disabilities. The camp was established in 1972 and its first 211 campers started in 1974. Today, Camp Courageous serves nearly 6,500 individuals with disabilities during their year-around program.
