Redshirted initial collegiate season (2005) ... was the team’s punter for the entire 2006 season, averaging 41.2 yards on 56 punts ... had 73-yard punt at Oklahoma that equals the eighth-longest punt in school history.

High School
Earned first-team all-state honors from The Des Moines Register as a senior when he averaged 44.2 yards on 29 punts with a long of 79 yards ... lettered three times for head coach Wade King.
