Dmitry Drozdov was an eight-time All-American in track & field and cross country and helped Iowa State win six conference titles and the 1994 NCAA Cross Country crown. A native of Penza, Russia, Drozdov was a four-time All-American in his premier event, the steeplechase, placing eighth, third, second and first in his four years at the NCAA meet. He was the first Cyclone in school history to earn All-America honors four times in the same event.
