AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State track and field program released its 2013-14 indoor season schedule on Monday. The schedule features four home meets, including the Big 12 Indoor Championships. The Cyclones will begin the season as they have in recent years, hosting the Holiday Preview on Dec. 6.
Iowa State will travel twice in January after classes resume for the Spring semester. On Jan. 18, the squad will travel to Iowa City, Iowa for the Big 4 Duals, and will compete at the Cherry & Silver Collegiate Invitational on Jan. 24-25. The annual Bill Bergan Invitational, Jan. 30 – Feb. 1, will wrap up January and will mark the start of the February slate for the Cyclones.
Iowa State will send runners to two meets on Feb. 7-8 at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational and the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup. The Cyclones are currently scheduled to wrap up the regular season Feb. 14-15 by hosting the Iowa State Classic.
The Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships return to the Lied Recreation Center on Feb. 28 – Mar. 1. The season concludes with the NCAA Indoor Championships on Mar. 14-15, in Albuquerque, N.M.
