• Iowa State hosts The Citadel, a member of the Southern Conference, Sunday at Hilton Coliseum...it will be the 2,600th game in the history of the program.
• The Cyclones will look to start 3-0 for the fifth consecutive season...ISU has won 14 consecutive home games in the month of November.
• ISU's average possession length is 12.9 seconds, which ranks sixth nationally (kenpom.com), while The Citadel is 30th nationally at 14.2 seconds...The Citadel averages 111.0 points per game, while ISU is at 93.0 ppg.

• Iowa State is ranked No. 20 in the Associated Press preseason poll...the Cyclones have been ranked in a school-record 58 consecutive AP polls, the third-longest streak nationally (Kansas, Arizona)...ISU is No. 23 in the coaches poll.
• ISU improved to 2-0 with a 73-55 win against Mount St. Mary's on Monday night...Iowa State never trailed in the game and has trailed 44 seconds total in the first two games of the season.
• Iowa State's opponents are shooting just 30 percent from the field, the lowest in the Big 12 and among the top-25 nationally.

• Iowa State and The Citadel are meeting for the first time.

• Steve Prohm is facing The Citadel for the first time in his six years as a head coach...he has never coached against The Citadel's Duggar Baucom, who is in his second year at the school.
Last time out - Cyclones Overcome Shooting Struggles To Beat Mount St. Mary's
• Iowa State shot just 44.8 percent from the field, including a 4-for-16 performance behind the arc, but it didn't matter as the defense helped it defeat Mount St. Mary's Monday night at Hilton Coliseum.
• The Cyclones held The Mount to just 26.6 percent shooting, the worst percentage by an ISU opponent in more than two years.
• Four Cyclones scored in double figures, paced by Morris (18) for the second consecutive game. Burton recorded his second career double-double and first this season, finishing with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Also in double-digits were Thomas (13) and Weiler-Babb (10), who scored a career high.
• Donovan Jackson led the Cyclones with four assists with no turnovers in his second career game.
