Cyclones in the NFL: Week 7 Recap

Jaylin Noel had a career a career game, while Enyi Uwazurike, Jaylin Travis and David Montgomery saw their teams earn big wins in week seven.

Week eight will have the Ravens trio return to action, as well as the Texans' receiver trio facing off with their old quarterback's team, the 49ers.

Jaylin Noel – #14 – Houston Texans (2-4)
Noel got his first career NFL start on Monday night, and he showed why, as he pulled down four passes for 77 yards – the second-most on the team and his most in a single game of his young career. He averaged 19.3 yards per catch, the most by any player in the contest with multiple grabs.

Breece Hall – #20, New York Jets (0-7)
Hall led the Jets in rushing yards on Sunday, carrying the ball a team-high 11 times. In total, his 54 combined yards were the second-most on the team.

David Montgomery – #5, Detroit Lions (5-2)
After coach Dan Campbell said he wanted to see a more even backfield load between Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, David saw his second-highest offensive snap share (44.1%) of the season. The Lions are one of six NFC teams with five wins.

Enyi Uwazurike – #96, Denver Broncos (5-2)
Uwazurike was a part of the craziest game of the weekend, as his Broncos used a 33-point fourth quarter to down the Giants in a game they trailed by 19 in. Enyi was held without a sack for the first time since week four as he earned two tackles in 30 defensive snaps.

Kene Nwangwu – #34, New York Jets (0-7)
Nwangwu got the opportunity to return one kickoff for the Jets this weekend, taking one return for 29 yards. He made his 2025 offensive debut, seeing one snap while also playing nine snaps on special teams.

Will McDonald IV – #9, New York Jets (0-7)
McDonald pass-rushing prowess has been held in check over the last few weeks, but he was able to rack up three tackles against Carolina as he played 47 defensive snaps.

Allen Lazard – #10, New York Jets (0-7)
After being inactive in week six in England, Lazard got the start at receiver for the Jets in week seven. Lazard was targeted three times and pulled in two catches. Earlier in the week, Earlier in the week, Lazard and his fiancée, Camila Escribens, announced the birth of their daughter, Capri.
