CARY, N.C. – Iowa State sophomore Mari Paz Alberto Vilar fell in the round of 64 at the ITA All-American Championships on Thursday after becoming the first Cyclone to reach the main draw.
Alberto Vilar met No. 6 Valerie Glozman in Thursday's match, falling 6-2, 6-3.
Alberto Vilar won five matches during the tournament, including the last two against Top 100 opponents.
